UPDATE: Pega as-a-Service and Constellation are the standard

Effective immediately, Pega as-a-Service and Constellation UI should be positioned as the default for all client engagements. Client Cloud (hosted) implementations and traditional UI are for exceptional circumstances that have been properly challenged and discussed with Pega before any client conversations. 

Why This Matters Now 

The introduction of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agents represent a paradigm shift that demands we rethink how we deliver and maintain enterprise solutions. Every new application we build with Pega as-a-Service using Constellation is a step toward more impactful, efficient, and future-ready solutions for our clients. 

By aligning with this strategy to deliver Pega as-a-Service, we ensure that clients receive the maximum value from their Pega investment while positioning them to leverage the full potential of current and future AI innovations. 

Our Expectations Moving Forward 

  1. Pega as-a-Service First Position: All client conversations should begin with Pega as-a-Service and Constellation as the default implementation path. 

  1. Challenge Exceptions: When clients express preference for alternatives, we expect you to properly challenge this choice and engage your Pega Account team to help you position and remove any obstacles, perceived or otherwise, before proceeding. 

  1. Educate Your Teams: Ensure your sales and technical teams are fully equipped to articulate the compelling advantages of Pega as-a-Service, especially as they relate to GenAI capabilities and Constellation. 

  1. Partner Dialogue: Before any client discussion considering alternative options, we expect a conversation with your Pega Account team.
