What is the contest and why is it important?

The Force is strong - and with you! Pega Partners have the ability to unleash the full potential of Pega GenAI by building skills to engage in and complete projects that will make our shared clients feel like they've tapped into the power of the universe.  

Pega Constellation enables you to develop your Pega UI at warp speed while enhancing the flexibility and security your clients expect. Your journey toward achieving Constellation milestones is a crucial indicator of your readiness to provide the GenAI solutions that our shared clients need. Every journey requires you to be prepared and ready to take advantage of all the sights you will see. 

That’s why we’ve introduced a friendly points-based contest to recognize our most advanced Constellation partner. Partners will compete to prove their expertise through:  

• The achievement of Constellation Adoption badges  
• Registering, progressing, and going live with Constellation projects
• The submission of DX components

How You’ll Learn Constellation

Embark on your Constellation journey by completing the Constellation Adoption Mission in Pega Academy. Badges will be counted toward your progress in this contest.  Note: completing this mission serves as a two-for-one achievement, as it progresses you on your 24.1 currency journey for 2025.

What you’ll win

Land a spot in front of Pega’s entire organization, gain access to key opportunities, and earn the recognition your firm deserves. The contest winner will receive:  

• A spotlight in the Pega Quarterly Kick-Off meeting  
• Participation in the PegaWorld iNspire 2025 Pega Constellation breakout session  
• Recognition as a Constellation Leader to support Constellation projects 

How to earn points

Gain points in the competition by completing key activities that showcase your Constellation expertise:  

1. Earn badges by completing the Constellation Adoption Mission in Pega Academy.  
2. Register and update your Constellation projects in MyPega. Be sure to mark the Constellation product box. 
3. Submit your DX components for approval to publish in the Pega DX Component Library.
   • Submission: Partners can submit their DX components by following the guidelines under "Suggesting Enhancements or Proposing New Components" in the Contributing Guide. All submissions are tracked as GitHub issues in the Constellation UI Gallery repository. Once you have completed the submission steps in GitHub, send an email to [email protected] with a link to the GitHub issue along with the GitHub branch that contains the proposed changes for review.
   • Review: Pega will provide initial high-level feedback within two weeks of submission. This feedback will assess the component's suitability and outline potential areas for improvement. After high-level feedback is provided, a review session with Pega will be arranged to discuss next steps and timelines.
   • Inclusion: Components meeting the eligibility criteria will be integrated into the Constellation UI Gallery on GitHub, with Pega collaborating with partners to finalize them for public release.

Contest Rules

1. All constellation badges earned by Partner resources in 2024 are eligible for points.
2. Partner must enter and maintain Constellation project information to qualify for points. Projects may be updated to reflect the inclusion of Constellation. All go-live records will be subject to audit for point awards.
3. Only approved DX Components will qualify for points.
4. All questions or challenges on points calculations must be submitted through the Pega Partner support system. Pega will review all challenges and respond to the inquiry within 2 business days. Pega reserves the right to determine eligibility based upon contest rules.

December 31: Contest closes; Points calculated based upon all badges (including those earned to date in 2024), projects, and DX components.

January 17: Winners announced!
